~ Praise for The Crawl Space ~

The journey to glorification is a road of suffering. And yet most Christians have little or no understanding about suffering. When they are confronted with the trials of life they are many times tossed to and fro due to the lack of theology of our times. We live in a world that wants to avoid anything that has to do with pain or hardship. The church is no exception. We have produced a generation of people that are unprepared to face the difficulties that many are called to live out.

From her own personal experiences, Sharolyn Sidebottom has deeply processed the steps that God has set before her.  She openly and honestly is revealing her own life in order to help others through their difficulties. Her understanding of and ability to empower others to work through their own journey is one of the most needful works of our time.

I remember the very first time I heard Sharolyn share this teaching. It was absolutely one of the most powerful, anointed messages that I have ever heard. I am so glad that she has written this book because I know that many are going to be set free by the wonderful insights that it contains.

From the opening pages one is captivated by a story of Sharolyn and her husband, Jerry, completing a plumbing project crawling on the ground in a narrow crawl space under a new addition to their home.  At the time she had already passed eight months of her pregnancy.  Based on this story, lessons for life are developed dealing with hardships, uncertainty, disappointments, disasters, grief, pain, etc.

Make sure you have a block of time when you start reading this book – you will not be able to put it down!

Description

The events of life that are hard to deal with and hard to bear are like “a crawl space” says Sharolyn Sidebottom in her newest book.  The crawl spaces of life are not to punish us but to perfect us.  This vivid description really “hits the nail on the head” and reminds us that we cannot close our eyes to the areas in our lives that need to be changed, restored, or completely re-created by the grace of God.  The reader quickly identifies with this honest, strong, passionate woman who encourages us to look for God’s purposes in the most trying of events and circumstances.

The Crawl Space also includes a 28-Day Devotional designed to “jump-start” your faith, help you face life’s difficulties, confront the enemy, and bring the Light of the Gospel into every situation.
