ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Barbara Jane Wilson is a brand new author in the arena of Christian Fiction.  Her love for writing began as a child living in the Bronx. Crystal Dreams, was inspired by a young high school student seen on a bus one morning.  “She’s going on her senior trip!”  Immediately thoughts began to develop for this, Miss Wilson’s first book entitled “Crystal Dreams,” which is her own “dream come true!”

The author is a native New Yorker raised with her parents and two sisters.  She is a born-again believer, mom and mentor to young women and teens.  She enjoys ministry and especially being with family and friends!  Miss

Wilson is presently formulating a website to help encourage and inspire women, a love that began as ministry from within her church home.  She is presently working on other projects, including the sequel to “Crystal Dreams.“

Barbara and her daughter, Takiya Anna, reside in Queens, New York. “Anna is walking out her own journey, and my relationship with her has helped me to better understand the women of her generation.”
